Great traditional Italian food with a bit of a modern twist. The charred octopus was really divine. The ambiance is pretty cool, and while I shy away from the touristy places (and this is right in the heart) it was well worth it! Service was top notch and really enjoyed it.

We went to Via Vite for the first time over the holidays. The service was awesome. The food.....SOOO GOOOD! I highly recommend the goat cheese bruschetta. It’s amazing. My husband had a pizza and I had the gnocchi, both entree’s were delicious. We will definitely be back!

Service was good but quite pricey for what you get. We had a midday meal at 430pm. Was not offered the dinner menu even though was open prior to 500pm Was not advised menu would be different at 500pm. Will not return.

Was amazing. We snuck in before the dinner rush without a reservation and were promptly seated. The food, of course, was amazing. The fig and goat cheese bruschetta was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The ladies loved the gnocchi, saying it was the perfect homemade taste. The salmon was one of the best I had and the polenta was a great addition. They let my picky son order off the menu and he loved the meatballs. Can't wait to get back.

Great Italian fine dining restaurant. Reservation can be easily made on Opentable. Food is really delicious. The octopus is grilled nicely and the paste at the bottom is amazing. Salmon tastes good as well. Portion is large so high value for money. Great food !

Very nice modern upscale restaurant...enjoyed the lamb shank and gnocchi. The portions were just right for the price in our opinion. We actually had a hard time finishing.

Had to break a reservation because I was sick. It was valentines day. I called to cancel and spoke to a worker.I was still charged for a broken reservation. But not only was it the agreed-upon $40, it was 80 EFFING DOLLARS. F that place.BTW I hear that the place is filthy and the food aint great.

They have great service here and the atmosphere has a modern elegance to it. I had the penne bolognese with veal meatballs, which was great. The veal meatballs were delicious and tender! If your looking for a good pasta dish and a wide selection of wines, this is good spot to go to.

This place is unquestionably one of the most pleasant place to eat in the neighborhood. Every time I come to this place I am truly satisfied. They hold their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they provide. You always win with this place. Very recommended.

My boyfriend and I had reservations here last Saturday night. The place was fairly busy when we were seated and were told our server would be over in a couple of minutes. A couple of minutes ended up being close to 15 before anyone even came by with glasses of water. Our server seemed tied up with a table of people obviously more important than us. She eventually made her way over to us, but I just felt fairly neglected throughout our entire meal.We ordered the bread basket, which was delicious despite plain olive oil not being my favorite condiment. For dinner, we split two pizzas - the margherita and the calabrese. Both were very good and you could taste the quality of the limited, fresh ingredients. The taste of the food, however, was not enough to make up for the poor service. I expect more from a nicer place like Via Vite.

Very nice place. Good view of plaza. Delicious food. Good service. Only complaint was paying $3.50 for a small meatball. Other prices were reasonable. I thought the meatball would be 2-3 times that size for the price.

Visual experience was good. They have an amazing presentation of dishes. Must try Handmade crispy Gnocchi. Staff were knowledgeable about the ingredients. Overall had a great time!!

We went here twice on a long weekend we had, and almost everything here was excellent. The food was so authentic, the location of the fountain area is nice, and there wasn’t a wait to get seated! I recommend the brussels sprouts and the pasta (pictured). It is pricey, but if you can afford it, I would definitely recommend.

Loved the huge, open space concept with large windows opened to the view. We appreciated the wonderful service as well. The charred octopus with the crispy potatoes were well made. We got a sample of the gnocchi that was freshly made with just the right amount of crispiness of its outer shell. The lamb shank had incredible flavor that was moist that it fell off the bone, placed on top of polenta that had a nice texture and just enough thickness to it. The Penne Bolognese is also a good choice with sauce full of meat and a almost a slightly sweet creaminess. Plates were filled with nice, authentic flavors. Definitely satisfying!

This place is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The crew is very friendly and the cooking they place on your table is so delicious. I would always prefer to have a good dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Where do I begin? First of all let me just say that this is my new favorite restaurant! From the moment we walked in the door for our anniversary dinner we were treated like we were the most special people in the room. (I didn't notice any other guests feeling any less special however) The staff was friendly, helpful and personable. The drinks were fantastic and the food, impeccable. The gnocchi, oh the gnocchi... you haven't experienced gnocchi until you've had it here! Seriously, listen to me and go try it today. The view of Fountain Square was a lovely addition to this wonderful meal. We will absolutely be back and it will be sooner rather than later!

The overall experience was very nice. The restaurant is very easy to find on the corner of fountain square and has a good vibe. The staff was very attentive and friendly and took the time to answer all of my tables questions (there were many). The food was very tasty and presented very well. The brussel sprouts are delicious and well worth ordering. Next time, I may even order a side of them just for me.Bottom line: the food is good, the atmosphere relaxing, and you will have a pleasant meal. (and get the brussel sprouts)
